Hmm I was thinking maybe we need a board with no special title something like a random topics board for topics with no special catagory. Anyway just an idea. Since sometimes there isn't a board for things that arent music or whatever related.
surely though if your new topic doesn't fall into any specific category you could put it in "Lets talk"? I thought that was where everything went if it didn't fit anywhere else.

Here's what it says right under "let's talk" on that board: Your general place to chat. Talk about the weather, monkeys, or how about your favorite hairstyle? You can do it all here! That sounds pretty general to me...the perfect place to talk about anything that isn't covered by the other boards.

yeah...the let's talk board covers all of that and more. now...if we could only get rid of annonymous posts
Garret, you can only make anonymous posts on the graffiti section, so just don't post there or read graffiti if you don't like anonymous posts. I think the anonymous choice is a good one, but again, it is a choice, not manditory. And it is only available on graffiti,, not here on these boards.
yeah and these bords are to post new ideas not to tell someone over and over again ware they should've posted
Hold up, just a minute here Sassy Leopard I think folks were right when they said the "let's talk" would take care of your "no special topic" messages. However, I do believe there is a need for a new board called "frequently asked questions about the zone" or something like that.
For newbies, there's darn little help. And there really should be more. However, we shouldn't leave it up to the admins to build it for us. those of us who use the zone day in and day out could, and should, do it ourselves. But I think it should be in one place so it would be easily found.
Okay, that's my two cents worth. Whatdoya think?

thos questions that you wana ask, you can ask on "getting to know you" that's a board that people usually post to when starting out...though it's mainly for getting to know one another, when you talk about yourself, you can also put in certain questions you have. Aside from that, one of the CLs is pretty much always on and able to answer most any question, and even if not, the people that are normally monitoring qns are pretty knowledgeable too...and will probably also be able to help you.
That seems like a catch-is-catch-can system that may work great at times, and may not.
I agree with Dan on this, let's talk is the board where all the topics are listed which don't belong to any other board. So, I think that's enough.
Why not get rid of the rest of the boards and put everything in "let's talk"?
